David Freckleton

Associate Counsel

David Freckleton is an Associate Counsel at the firm and represents both businesses and individuals in a wide range of matters. He advises clients across the healthcare, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and life sciences industries on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and industry best practices. His work also includes counseling pharmaceutical, Medtech, and medical device companies on FDA and healthcare regulatory frameworks, privacy and data protection, products liability, and corporate and commercial matters such as contracting, business formation, and corporate governance.  David is an active member of the firm’s litigation team, combining courtroom advocacy with sophisticated regulatory counsel.  Notably, while in his 3rd year of law school, he served as second chair in a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Criminal Division waiver trial, where he assisted the firm in successful motion practice and argument of a motion to suppress two felony gun charges, resulting in their dismissal.

David earned his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School in 2025 and his B.A. from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. During law school, he was a summer associate with Kendall PC and served as a year-long judicial extern to the Honorable Michael A. Shipp of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Religion, Chapter President of the Federalist Society, and a leader in Rutgers Law’s bankruptcy and domestic violence pro bono projects.

His commitment to public service was recognized with the Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award for Exceptional Service to the Community and the 2024 Mary Philbrook Student Public Interest Award. His article, Where Do We Stand?: How to Reconcile Establishment Clause Standing Post-Kennedy, was published in the Spring 2025 edition of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Religion.
